Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Analyse revenue trends and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support internal and external audits related to revenue accounting.
  • Maintain and improve revenue accounting processes and controls.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations impacting revenue recognition.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Revenue Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
