Job Description

  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess potential security risks to the organisation's IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to address security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data protection and system security.
  • Oversee the implementation of security tools and technologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security performance and improvement plans.
  • Train staff on information security awareness and protocols.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Information Security Officer should have:

  • A strong background in information security with a background in Manufacturing/Industrial/Engineering sector
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards - ISO27001
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
  • Experience with implementing security tools and conducting audits.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Regional/Cluster experience is a must.
  • A proactive approach to ensuring the organisation's data and systems are secure.
