Job Description

  • Develop and deploy the regional HSE strategy, translating global priorities into a practical regional roadmap.
  • Drive improvements in safety maturity, risk management and operational standards across the region.
  • Own regional HSE performance, including TRIR, LTIR, serious injury prevention and leading indicators.
  • Establish consistent HSE governance, systems, standards and reporting across multiple sites.
  • Lead and oversee serious incident investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective action effectiveness.
  • Partner with Plant Directors and senior operations leaders to strengthen visible safety leadership and accountability.
  • Coach and develop HSE leaders across the regional network, building capability and succession depth.
  • Drive a stronger safety culture and hazard-reporting mindset across the organisation.
  • Lead environmental compliance and performance initiatives covering energy, water, waste and emissions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, HR and Supply Chain on major projects, transformations and operational risk management.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a senior HSE leader who brings:

  • Significant HSE/EHS experience within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience working across multiple sites and/or countries.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, governance and regulatory requirements.
  • A track record of improving safety performance and building safety maturity and culture.
  • Experience influencing senior operational stakeholders, ideally including Site Directors or equivalent leadership teams.
  • Strong capability in incident investigation, risk management and corrective action.
  • Exposure to environmental management and sustainability.
  • The ability to operate strategically while remaining close to operational realities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Regional or international exposure within a multinational environment.
