Job Description

As part of the regional logistics team, you will oversee chartering and tanker operations activities to support the efficient movement of liquid bulk cargo across Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage vessel nominations, shipment planning, and chartering execution
  • Coordinate with brokers, shipowners, terminals, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive freight optimization, service performance, and operational efficiency
  • Resolve operational issues, claims, and post-fixture matters
  • Monitor logistics partner performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and operational standards



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in chartering, tanker operations, maritime logistics, or liquid bulk transportation
  • Exposure to chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, or related bulk liquid cargo operations
  • Experience with chemical tankers, product tankers, or similar vessel operations
  • Good understanding of voyage execution, post-fixture activities, freight optimization, and demurrage management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regional operations
  • Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in an individual contributor role
