Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will help drive supply continuity, supplier performance, and procurement excellence.Key responsibilities include:Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities across assigned raw material categoriesSupport RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, commercial evaluations, and negotiationsMonitor supplier performance, pricing trends, and market developmentsDrive cost transparency and identify opportunities for value creation and savingsSupport contract management, supplier onboarding, and procurement compliance activitiesCollaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure business and operational requirements are metMaintain sourcing documentation, supplier data, and reporting activitiesContribute to procurement process improvements and operational excellence initiativesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Category Buyer should have:Experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, or supplier management within a chemical or multinational environment.Experience sourcing chemicals, specialty chemicals, oleochemicals, palm oil derivatives, lubricants, paints & coatings, petrochemicals, or other industrial raw materials.Strong supplier management experience, including supplier selection, negotiations, performance management, and relationship management.Experience supporting sourcing activities such as RFQs/RFPs, contract administration, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.Ability to work effectively with regional and global suppliers and stakeholders.Mandarin proficiency (spoken, written, and reading) to support supplier engagement and communication.Experience within multinational, shared services, or global procurement environments will be an added advantageWhat's on OfferOpportunity to work within a leading multinational organisationRegional and global stakeholder exposureCollaboration with international suppliers and procurement teamsStructured career development and learning opportunitiesIf you're passionate about procurement and supplier management and are looking to grow your career within a global MNC environment, we'd love to hear from you.
