Job Description

  • Manage record-to-report processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Utilise Japanese language skills for communication and documentation as required.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R2R Japanese Speaker should have:

  • Proficiency in Japanese language, both written and spoken.
  • Min 2 years of experience in R2R or related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in record-to-report processes or similar accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools is an added advantage
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary range: MYR 70,000 to MYR 162,000
