Job Description

  • Manage and lead execution of projects or programmes aligned with strategic objectives
  • Ensure delivery against defined design criteria, timelines and budget targets
  • Oversee multiple workstreams where applicable, ensuring coordination across projects
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of processes (e.g. GPD)
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capability and mentor team members
  • Lead projects/programmes ranging from low to high complexity depending on experience
  • Define scope, objectives and deliverables with stakeholders
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks and evolving requirements
  • Partner with business or category leaders to identify needs and deliver solutions
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities
  • Lead, guide and support team members, including task delegation and development
  • Take ownership in resolving project challenges and removing blockers
  • Recommend and lead improvements to existing project and development processes
  • Drive "lessons learned" initiatives and ensure insights are documented and shared
  • Address complex and ambiguous challenges with structured and strategic thinking
  • Anticipate project risks and changing demands, implementing proactive solutions
  • Influence decisions and drive change within the organisation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project/Program Manager should have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, depending on seniority
  • Proven track record in project or programme management
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to lead project delivery from initiation through completion
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills
  • Experience managing medium to high complexity projects or multiple workstreams is an advantage
  • Background in new product development or similar structured project environments is preferred
  • Demonstrated capability in driving process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree required (technical or business-related discipline preferred)
  • Master's degree and/or PMP certification is advantageous
