Job Description

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the construction and commissioning of electrical substations and associated power infrastructure.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and operational stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee contractor performance, site activities, and construction progress.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements, project governance processes, and local statutory regulations.
  • Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and change management activities throughout the project.
  • Manage project budgets, resource planning, procurement coordination, and reporting requirements.
  • Engage with local authorities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal business stakeholders.
  • Provide project updates, governance reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support safe and efficient construction execution while maintaining project quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience in project planning and execution within industrial environments.
  • Strong background in brownfield construction management.
  • Experience delivering electrical engineering, power infrastructure, or substation projects.
  • Demonstrated HSSE leadership and commitment to safe project delivery.
  • Strong risk management and change management capabilities.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and governance reporting.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, oil & gas, lubricants, chemicals, or similar industrial sectors.
