Job Description

  • Lead and manage daily production operations to achieve output, quality and delivery targets
  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions
  • Optimise manpower, machinery and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Analyze production data to identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Ensure products meet approved specifications and quality standards
  • Establish, maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions and operational controls
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, company policies and production documentation standards
  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce safe work practices across operations
  • Develop, coach and manage production teams to enhance performance and accountability
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning and Warehouse teams to resolve operational issues
  • Prepare and present production reports on key operational metrics and improvement projects
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management when required

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, including production management responsibilities
  • Experience in high-volume or process-driven manufacturing environments preferred
  • Proven track record in managing production output, quality, productivity and delivery performance
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, process optimisation and root cause analysis
  • Experience in cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Good understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, ISO systems and SOPs
  • Strong leadership, people management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
