Job Description

  • Lead and support end-to-end supply planning activities, ensuring alignment across material requirements planning, inventory management, and operational execution.
  • Drive inventory health management, including stock coverage optimisation, excess stock reduction, and mitigation of supply risks.
  • Manage material availability through purchase order planning, supplier coordination, and shipment tracking activities.
  • Ensure planning master data accuracy and maintain system integrity across ERP and planning platforms.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, procurement, commercial, and logistics teams to deliver service level targets and business objectives.
  • Support new product introductions, audits, planning governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to capability development within the planning function while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Supply Planning Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 7-10 years of experience within supply planning, materials planning, or related supply chain functions.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and integrated business planning processes.
  • Proven track record managing inventory performance, service levels, and supply risk mitigation.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong ERP and Excel proficiency.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
  • Previous exposure to FMCG, food manufacturing, or consumer goods environments will be advantageous.
