An established advanced manufacturing organisation is seeking a senior operations leader to take full responsibility for plant performance, operational excellence, quality, supply chain, engineering, EHS and overall business execution.

Job Description

Operations & Manufacturing Leadership

  • Lead overall site operations and manufacturing performance.
  • Drive production output, delivery performance, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure manufacturing resources, manpower and capacity planning align with business objectives.



Quality & Compliance

  • Oversee plant-wide quality management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Maintain strong customer quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives.



Engineering & Process Improvement

  • Lead process optimisation, yield improvement and operational excellence programmes.
  • Drive automation, digitisation and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
  • Support new product introduction and successful transfer into production.



Supply Chain & Planning

  • Oversee materials management, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations and production planning.
  • Ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved through effective planning and execution.



Maintenance & Facilities

  • Ensure preventive maintenance systems are effective.
  • Minimise equipment downtime and maximise plant utilisation.
  • Oversee facilities management and infrastructure planning.



Environmental, Health & Safety

  • Champion environmental and workplace safety compliance.
  • Lead ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety management programmes.
  • Serve as a key leader for legal compliance and risk management initiatives.



Financial & Business Management

  • Manage operational budgets and strategic investment planning.
  • Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement programmes.
  • Support financial performance and business growth objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management or related discipline.
  • Have worked for PCB, FPC / FPCA Manufactrers.
  • Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience within manufacturing.
  • Proven track record leading a complete manufacturing site or plant operation.
  • Strong experience managing multiple functional leaders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, stakeholder management and business acumen.
  • Automotive manufacturing exposure.
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Chemical engineering or relevant technical manufacturing background.
  • Experience leading operational turnaround, automation and transformation projects.
  • Experience working in multinational manufacturing environments.

What's on Offer

  • Monthly salary between RM20,000 to RM30,000.
