Job Description

  • Lead and own the pre-season merchandising planning process for assigned footwear categories, including analytics, documentation, and template management.
  • Define and implement season assortment strategies, working with buying teams to build profitable and consumer-aligned shoe lines while adhering to OTB budgets and category price structures.
  • Generate baseline forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and demand drivers, ensuring SKU counts and stock rotation align with approved limits and budgets.
  • Review merchandising reports, SIR, and delivery schedules, taking timely action on late deliveries, aging stock, and other operational issues.
  • Maintain high operational discipline by delivering tasks on time, ensuring quality, and following departmental priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering engagement, sharing expertise, and positively influencing outcomes.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and team development by setting priorities, motivating change, sharing knowledge, and encouraging accountability within the team.



The Successful Applicant

  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work resourcefully.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and synthesis to support decision-making.
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; holds a Bachelor's degree and is proficient in English.
