The MEP Drafting Engineer will be responsible to develop and coordinate electrical and mechanical IFC drawings using Revit BIM software while ensuring design accuracy and compliance with project requirements. The role will support clash detection, BOQ preparation, as-built documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Prepare electrical and mechanical IFC drawing packages under the guidance of engineering teams
  • Develop and maintain Revit BIM models for project delivery
  • Conduct clash detection and produce coordinated MEP drawings
  • Support the preparation of MEP Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
  • Produce accurate as-built drawings based on site measurements and installation records
  • Coordinate closely with subcontractors, engineers, QA/QC personnel, safety teams, and procurement stakeholders
  • Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, codes, and standards
  • Update design documentation and revisions throughout project execution

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Revit BIM modeling software
  • Knowledge of relevant local and international MEP codes and standards
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a construction, engineering consultancy, or related environment
  • Experience preparing IFC drawings and coordinated MEP models
  • Familiarity with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination processes
