Job Description

Medical & Clinical Excellence

  • Provide direction to medical practitioners across the organization.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, ethical, and patient-centered healthcare services.
  • Establish, review, and monitor clinical standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in clinical quality, patient outcomes, and patient safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and licensing requirements.



Doctor Management & Development

  • Guide, mentor, and manage doctors and specialists across multiple locations.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks for medical practitioners.
  • Coach doctors on professional development, people management capabilities, and career progression.
  • Build a culture of accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify and develop future clinical people managers within the organization.
  • Recruitment, onboarding, retention, and engagement initiatives for medical professionals.



Commercial & Business Capabilities

  • Partner with senior management to align clinical operations with business goals
  • Drive productivity, performance, and sustainable growth across the healthcare network.
  • Develop commercial awareness among doctors while maintaining strong clinical standards.
  • Coach medical practitioners on patient engagement, service excellence, communication, and customer relationship management.
  • Facilitate initiatives aimed at improving patient acquisition, retention, and overall patient experience.
  • Study business and operational performance metrics and recommend improvement strategies.



Operational & Strategic Management

  • Monitor key clinical and operational performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient flow, and service delivery.
  • Work with operations, HR, marketing, and business development teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Contribute to growth initiatives, business planning, and expansion strategies.
  • Drive change management initiatives and facilitate organizational transformation programs.



Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with doctors, specialists, clinic professionals, and senior management.
  • Act as an advisor on medical and operational matters.
  • Represent the organization in professional and industry engagements where required.

The Successful Applicant

  • MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical degree.
  • Registered Medical Practitioner.
  • Have an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) preferred.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Healthcare Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related fields will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical practice experience with at least 4 to 5 years of experience managing doctors and/or specialists.
  • Proven experience within a multi-site healthcare, clinic chain, medical group, managed care, or healthcare services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing doctor performance, engagement, and capability development.
  • Experience balancing clinical excellence with operational and commercial goals
