Job Description

  • Provide medical and scientific support for internal and external stakeholders in the life sciences industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and deliver medical education and training programs for internal teams and external partners.
  • Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for medical inquiries and provide evidence-based responses.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies to support business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze medical and scientific trends within the life sciences industry to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Medical Affairs Specialist should have:

  • A degree in a relevant life sciences field, such as medicine, pharmacy, or biomedical sciences.
  • Strong understanding of medical and regulatory guidelines in the ophthalmology sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze scientific data and present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering educational content for diverse audiences.
