Job Description

  • Develop and implement medical strategies that align with business objectives in specific therapeutic area.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide medical insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to share and gather scientific information.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards in all medical activities.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical data to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications, presentations, and training materials.
  • Provide medical expertise to internal stakeholders and support medical education initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess emerging trends, technologies, and developments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Medical Affairs Manager (pharma) should have:

  • A medical degree or relevant life science qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the ophthalmology field and related therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a similar role within the life science industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting clinical data and providing actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and internal teams effectively.
