Job Description

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key scientific personnel and external experts (KOLs).
  • Communicate emerging scientific and clinical data with healthcare professionals in a balanced, and evidence-based manner. Translate study outcomes into meaningful clinical insights and incorporate them into strategic initiatives.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with insights on medical trends and clinical practices
  • Develop and execute local medical strategies to address unmet medical needs in priority disease areas, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategies.
  • Plan and implement pre-launch medical activities for new products up to two years ahead of launch, addressing key clinical and scientific considerations.
  • Contribute medical expertise to lifecycle management strategies for key products and therapeutic areas.
  • Development of scientific content and faculty engagement for medical initiatives such as advisory boards, congresses, publications, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.
  • Provide medical review and input into promotional materials, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry ethical standards.
  • Guide clinical teams in identifying and selecting appropriate investigators and study sites to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with goals
  • Ensure adherence to internal compliance standards, corporate governance policies, audit requirements, and applicable industry guidelines and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Educational background in a scientific discipline, preferably a PhD or Medical Doctor qualification, or equivalent clinical training.
  • Prior experience in a Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong track record in stakeholder and relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of current scientific, technical, and regulatory developments within the industry.
