Job Description

  • Maintain master data records to support accurate finance and business information.
  • Review data requests and ensure updates are complete, consistent and properly recorded.
  • Monitor data quality and resolve data issues to reduce reporting errors.
  • Work with Accounting & Finance stakeholders to clarify master data requirements.
  • Manage data changes in line with approved internal processes and controls.
  • Prepare data checks and reports to help users identify incomplete or incorrect records.
  • Maintain clear documentation for data definitions, update requests and process steps.
  • Support improvements to master data governance practices across relevant systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Master Data Governance professional should have:

  • Experience managing and maintaining master data records.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality controls.
  • Ability to review data accurately and identify inconsistencies.
  • Experience working with finance-related data or reporting requirements.
  • Ability to manage data requests and maintain clear process documentation.
  • Confidence working with different stakeholders to resolve data queries.
