Job Description

Lead the marketing vision and growth agenda for Malaysia and Singapore, driving brand performance, innovation, and consumer relevance across a dynamic portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to accelerate sustainable business growth across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, creating a high-performance culture focused on innovation, execution excellence, and capability building.
  • Drive brand growth through deep understanding of consumer behaviours, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Champion the development and execution of impactful integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, social, and e-commerce channels.
  • Partner closely with commercial, sales, insights, supply chain, finance, and regional stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
  • Oversee portfolio strategy, ensuring brands remain competitive, relevant, and differentiated within their categories.
  • Identify, evaluate, and commercialise innovation opportunities, from concept development through to successful market launch.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and consumer insights to shape strategic decisions and optimise marketing investments.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and marketing investment allocation, balancing brand building with commercial delivery.
  • Act as a key voice within the leadership team, influencing growth strategies and building strong cross-functional alignment.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for an agile and influential marketing leader with a proven track record of building brands, leading teams, and delivering commercial results in a complex FMCG environment. Key requirements include:

  • Significant FMCG brand marketing experience gained within well-established consumer goods organisations.
  • Proven success developing and executing growth-driving marketing and brand strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and inspiring high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of changing consumer behaviours, market dynamics, and category trends.
  • Regional or multi-country exposure within Southeast Asia or broader APAC is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, business performance, and growth initiatives.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and data into actionable business strategies.
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, matrixed organisations while influencing multiple stakeholders.
