This includes operational training covering food preparation processes, and technical operating procedures. Success in the role will be measured through effective stakeholder engagement with restaurant operations teams and the development of engaging learning solutions that support business performance.

About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead training and capability development across approximately 80+ restaurant outlets, managing a team of 3hc. The role will play a critical part in driving operational consistency, leadership capability and training adoption across the restaurant network through a highly hands on approach

Job Description

  • Proven experience facilitating both leadership and operational training within a multi site environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence restaurant operations teams and drive training participation and adoption.
  • Design and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Localise and deliver training programs to upskill employees across various levels and departments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and address training needs.
  • Manage budgets and resources for training programs effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Learning and Development (L&D) Manager should have:

  • 7 -12 years experience in learning & development
  • Proven experience within the restaurant or food service industry, with a strong understanding of frontline operations
  • Hands on and highly visible training professional who enjoys being on the ground with operations teams.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Adaptability to travel outstation on a monthly basis
