Our client is seeking an IT Application Engineer (ERP Support Engineer) to provide functional and technical support for their ERP platform across multiple business functions. This role will work closely with users from manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, and operations to resolve system issues, support enhancements, and drive process improvements.

Job Description

  • Provide first and second-level support for ERP users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Troubleshoot application-related issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support ERP modules covering manufacturing, production planning, inventory management, procurement, finance, and quality management.
  • Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, testing activities, and deployment of new functionalities.
  • Gather business requirements from users and translate them into system improvement initiatives.
  • Support user access management, system configuration, and data maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing system guidance when required.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across ERP systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to vendors or development teams where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting ERP systems or enterprise business applications.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, procurement, or finance business processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Exposure to ERP platforms such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar systems will be an added advantage.
