It is driven by innovation and quality, with ambitions to expand its portfolio beyond motorcycles into the hardware and machinery segment.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the machinery and hardware sector, targeting retail distributors and dealers.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and achieve individual and team goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Monitor and manage the sales budget to ensure efficient use of resources.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Sales (Machinery & Hardware) should have:

  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the hardware or machinery industry (e.g. power tools, hardware & building materials, automotive & industrial parts)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a sales team effectively
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
