Job Description

  • Lead and manage a professional finance team while providing guidance, support, and promoting financial awareness across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and submission of Bursa quarterly reports, annual reports, Bursa announcements, as well as consolidated management reports and financial analysis for Atlan Holdings Berhad and the Group.
  • Oversee the Group's annual budgeting process, ensuring all financial budgets are prepared and completed within stipulated timelines.
  • Act as the Company's representative in negotiations and maintain effective liaison with government authorities, external auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Drive, oversee, and continuously enhance financial management processes, including statutory accounting and reporting systems, to support business operations.
  • Actively contribute to the investment review committee by evaluating proposals and providing guidance on financial matters such as valuation, financial projections, tax considerations, and deal structuring.
  • Establish and enforce appropriate financial policies and procedures to ensure strong internal controls and compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being an advantage.
  • Proven experience in the property industry or other relevant heavy industries will be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
