Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the organisation's financial planning and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance to maintain stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a finance team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in the retail industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
