Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting practices and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Accounting should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in accounting, preferably within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
