The Group Key Account Manager will lead and grow key modern trade accounts. This role will manage a small team (2 KAMs) and be responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring disciplined commercial execution across accounts.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets within the FMCG industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement in account management processes and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG.
  • Prior exposure to Modern Trade (Hypermarket/Supermarket/Convenience).
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on approach to execution.
  • Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical, resilient, and able to work within a lean organisation setup.
