This position is responsible for leading a Transport Management team supporting export logistics activities across the EMEA region. You will oversee transportation planning operations, manage Logistics Service Provider (LSP) performance, drive operational excellence initiatives, and ensure high-quality service delivery to internal stakeholders and customers.

About Our Client

A globally recognized multinational organization with extensive operations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). As part of its growing Supply Chain and Logistics organization, the company is expanding its Transport Management team to support international export logistics operations and service excellence initiatives.

Job Description

Lead and manage transport planning operations supporting export deliveries across the EMEA region

Coach, develop, and manage a team while overseeing resource planning and capability development

Build strong relationships with internal business partners and logistics stakeholders

Manage Logistics Service Provider (LSP) performance, transportation reliability, and service quality

Support issue resolution and drive customer-focused logistics solutions

Monitor operational performance and prepare management reporting and analytics

Drive process improvements, operational excellence, and service enhancements

Support risk management, business continuity, data protection, and governance initiatives

Ensure effective knowledge management, documentation, and process ownership

Participate in digitalization, automation, and supply chain improvement projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Management (Assistant Manager) should have:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Operations, or International Trade environments
  • Leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team management experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of transport management, export logistics, international shipping, or freight operations
  • Experience managing stakeholders, service delivery, and operational performance
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • SAP or ERP system experience is preferred
  • Process improvement, automation, or digitalization experience would be advantageous
