This position focuses on the verification and control of import/export-related transactions, logistics charges, freight costs, and supporting documentation across global operations. Working closely with logistics service providers, supply chain stakeholders, and finance teams, you will play an important role in ensuring cost accuracy, compliance, audit readiness, and smooth operational execution across international trade movements.

A globally recognized multinational organization (Manufacturing Industry) with a strong international footprint and well-established supply chain operations across multiple regions. As part of its continued investment in global operations excellence, the organization is expanding its Supply Chain team to support import/export transaction verification, trade operations governance, and logistics cost controls.

Job Description

  • Verify freight, logistics, and supply chain service invoices against contracted rates, approved quotations, and supporting documentation
  • Review import/export-related charges including customs, detention, demurrage, transportation, and logistics costs
  • Ensure accurate recording of verified transactions within SAP and related systems
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and billing issues
  • Follow up on supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and audit compliance
  • Support cost control, operational governance, and risk mitigation activities
  • Participate in process improvement, standardization, and digitalization initiatives
  • Maintain documentation required for audit readiness and operational controls

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Trade Operations Executive (Import/Export Verification) should have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Up to 2 years of experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Trade Operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, logistics operations, shipping documentation, freight forwarding, or import/export processes would be advantageous
