Job Description

  • Lead and manage customer service and operations teams, including Team Leads and frontline staff.
  • Oversee service delivery performance, ensuring KPI and SLA targets are consistently met.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across shipping processes and support functions.
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders on operational alignment.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and team performance.
  • Support workforce planning and team structure within a 24/7 operational environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customer Service Manager - Shipping Operations should have:

  • Strong experience within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry (mandatory).
  • Proven track record managing large, layered teams.
  • Experience in customer service operations or service delivery leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, comfort leading a team with 24/7 operational environment
  • Exposure to global or regional operations is advantageous.
