Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle modification to improve long-term health outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Refer patients appropriately to specialists, hospitals, or allied healthcare professionals when required.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs to improve healthcare awareness and accessibility.
  • Work with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Uphold high standards of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality of care.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement and drives the organization's mission of expanding access to quality healthcare.

The Successful Applicant

  • MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
  • Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • Experience in General Practice, Family Medicine, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, or Community Healthcare is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities with a patient-centric approach.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and willing to be based in East Malaysia.
  • Passion for community healthcare and improving access to quality medical services.
