Job Description

  • Manage fixed asset records to maintain accurate asset values, movements and supporting documentation.
  • Oversee lease accounting activities and maintain complete lease records for financial reporting.
  • Review asset additions, transfers, disposals and depreciation entries to support reliable period-end reporting.
  • Prepare fixed asset and lease schedules that provide clear information for internal financial reporting.
  • Work with relevant internal teams to gather documentation for asset and lease transactions.
  • Investigate variances in fixed asset and lease balances and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organised records and documentation for fixed asset and lease accounting activities.
  • Improve reporting processes for fixed assets and leases to increase accuracy and consistency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fixed Assets And Lease Manager should have:

  • Experience managing fixed asset accounting activities.
  • Experience handling lease accounting records and reporting.
  • Ability to review asset movements, depreciation and supporting documentation accurately.
  • Ability to prepare clear fixed asset and lease schedules.
  • Confidence investigating balance variances and resolving accounting issues.
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining financial records.
