Job Description

1. Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting to support business objectives.



2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, while monitoring financial performance and providing insights on variances against established targets and plans.



3. Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning, working capital efficiency, and funding requirements to ensure optimal liquidity and effective utilization of financial resources.



4. Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax legislation, statutory obligations, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining robust internal controls and governance frameworks.



5. Audit, Risk & Business Advisory

  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, proactively identify financial and operational risks, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, investments, and management decision-making.



6. Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while driving continuous enhancements in financial processes, controls, systems, and operational efficiency.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in financial management within the engineering industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and tools.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
