Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Lead financial reporting activities and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise on financial reporting matters, including the application of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
  • Manage external audits, statutory reporting, and corporate tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage cost control and optimise resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Review and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly regarded.
  • Hands-on experience with IFRS, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
  • Experience managing audit, statutory reporting, and tax compliance matters.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Singapore.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
