Our client is a large organization operating within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Job Description

  • Serve as the regional finance partner to APAC Operations leadership, driving cost efficiency, margin expansion, and sustained operational performance across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Own end‑to‑end financial performance management-close, reporting, forecasting, and insights-translating complex data into clear actions and faster, better decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing regional finance organisation, building capability, strengthening succession, and setting a strong talent and performance culture.
  • Drive manufacturing finance excellence, including costing, inventory management, variance analysis, CAPEX governance, and working capital optimisation, ensuring rigorous control with real on‑the‑ground impact.
  • Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement to identify opportunities, resolve issues, manage risks proactively, and deliver measurable financial outcomes.
  • Lead process, systems, and control enhancements, including SAP optimisation, standardisation, and aligned controls-balancing scalability, efficiency, and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Operations Director should have:

  • Extensive experience within the Manufacturing industry, with previous hands-on experience at the factory/plant operations level.
  • Previous experience in a role with regional coverage.
  • Experience covering multi-site operations is highly regarded.
  • A professional finance qualification OR MBA.
