Job Description

  • Transform finance and business requirements into scalable data models and intuitive Power BI dashboards
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, including P&L trends, cost drivers, margins, and working capital
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis through data-driven insights
  • Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, and DAX measures
  • Create meaningful visualizations and tell compelling stories through reports and presentations
  • Ensure reporting consistency, KPI alignment, and data quality standards
  • Build and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and validation
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements
  • Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across BI, AI, and RPA solutions
  • Promote self-service analytics and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions independently

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Data Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
  • Experience in Financial Analytics, Business Intelligence, FP&A, or related functions
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and data modeling (Star Schema)
  • Strong SQL proficiency
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Exposure to automation technologies such as BI, AI, or RPA (added advantage)
