We are seeking a Engineering Support Specialist (Korean Speaker) to provide troubleshooting and customer support for advanced diagnostic and laboratory systems across the APAC region. This role combines technical problem-solving, customer engagement, laboratory testing, and digital support initiatives to ensure excellent service delivery.

Our client is a well-established multinational corporation (MNC) operating within the healthcare and diagnostic technology industry, supporting customers across the Asia Pacific region through a regional service hub.

Job Description

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for laboratory and diagnostic equipment via phone, email, and remote support channels.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues relating to instruments, workflows, and system performance.
  • Identify product quality concerns and escalate complex cases in accordance with company processes.
  • Support customer adoption of digital service tools, remote diagnostics, and self-service solutions.
  • Simulate customer issues in a laboratory environment to validate solutions and improve system performance.
  • Develop technical knowledge materials and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical devices, diagnostic systems, laboratory operations, technical support, or engineering maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electromechanical systems, robotics, fluidics, and basic networking concepts.
  • Fluent English plus proficiency in at least one regional language such as Mandarin, Korean, or Thai.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including public holidays.
