Job Description

  • Manage and operate Azure services such as AKS, App Service, Functions, Virtual Machines, and supporting components to ensure they are stable, secure, and ready for use by application teams.
  • Ensure all Azure workloads adhere to internal configuration, reliability, and security standards.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions with strong emphasis on scalability, governance, and security.
  • Develop reusable automation assets, pipeline templates, and configuration modules to standardize deployments and enforce compliance.
  • Automate operational workflows, compliance checks, and routine tasks using scripting tools such as Python or Bash.
  • Establish and refine engineering policies covering pipeline governance, branching structures, secrets handling, artifact security, and deployment controls.
  • Apply Azure security best practices in identity management, networking, private connectivity, and system hardening.
  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to support assessments, resolve findings, and improve overall cloud and pipeline security posture.
  • Monitor platform performance and health using observability tools like Dynatrace to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis for cloud platform issues and pipeline failures, and implement improvements to enhance resilience.
  • Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and architectural materials to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.

The Successful Applicant

  • More than 3 years of experience working with cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a preference for Azure.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to define or manage engineering standards, platform patterns, or technical policies.
  • Ability to translate compliance and security requirements into automated engineering solutions.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
  • Strong understanding of Git‑based workflows and modern source‑control best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
