Job Description

As a Project Control Manager / Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to contractual and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage overall project delivery schedules and ensure project execution aligns with contractual commitments and approved budgets.
  • Take ownership of project scope, schedule, cost control, quality management, and delivery performance.
  • Develop detailed project plans during the planning phase and monitor project execution throughout implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate project management frameworks, governance policies, and operational procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and escalations to minimize project impact.
  • Lead risk mitigation strategies and implement effective issue resolution processes.
  • Coordinate project stakeholders, internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain delivery targets.
  • Manage project reporting, forecasting, resource planning, and performance tracking activities.
  • Support contract administration, procurement coordination, subcontractor management, and commercial considerations throughout project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, delivery efficiency, and overall project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should possess:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.



Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Telecom project delivery
    • Civil and external engineering projects
    • Engineering construction management
    • Operations and maintenance (O&M) delivery management
    • Project control and governance



Professional Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge across major project management disciplines, including:
    • Scope Management
    • Schedule Management
    • Cost Management
    • Risk Management
    • Change Management
    • Communication Management
    • Stakeholder Management
    • Financial Management
  • Familiarity with telecom project delivery models and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of contracts, procurement processes, subcontracting management, and commercial project considerations.
  • Good knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and industry operations.
