As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data platforms to support business services - using Databricks, PowerBI & data modelling.

Job Description

  • Design and develop end‑to‑end data solutions based on business requirements
  • Build and enhance data pipelines and models using Azure, Databricks, and SQL
  • Deliver analytics solutions that power Power BI dashboards and reporting
  • Work closely with global teams to support both project and BAU delivery
  • Translate regional data needs into scalable global solutions
  • Follow Agile / iterative delivery and DevOps best practices
  • Support and improve a modern enterprise data platform, keeping up with industry best practices
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues when required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Platform Engineer should have:

  • A strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Over 3 years of experience in BI, data engineering, or data platform development
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, data warehousing, and data modelling
  • Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory
  • Confidence developing and supporting Power BI reporting and analytics solutions
  • Experience using Git and DevOps tools in an Agile or iterative delivery environment
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global, cross‑functional teams
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working across regions and time zones
