Job Description

Stakeholder & Community Leadership

  • Lead and energize the extended account community (sales teams, key account managers, country stakeholders, technical managers) through structured updates, meetings, and reporting.
  • Forecast and coordinate resource needs across local, regional, and global teams.
  • Enhance overall customer satisfaction through a unified, globalized delivery and tendering approach.



Tendering Excellence & Standardization

  • Ensure consistent designs, pricing structures, and commercial conditions across countries and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with SMEs in architecture, contracts, and business units to align tender outcomes with best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote tendering tools, templates, and methods used at all organizational levels.
  • Capture and roll out lessons learned from both tender and execution stages, ensuring fast integration into new bids.
  • Promote digitalization opportunities throughout the tendering process in alignment with strategic initiatives.



Opportunity & Offer Management

  • Oversee and control the full lifecycle of each opportunity, serving as the primary accountable owner and main point of contact.
  • Ensure smooth interfaces and alignment across multiple project packages, leveraging historical data on risks, terms, taxes, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the prescription phase, including solution qualification, specification influence, and RFQ analysis.
  • Define and align tender strategy; set up optimal tendering structures (local/regional/global) and validate through approval processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the extended tendering team across functions and geographies.



Commercial Offer Development

  • Deliver consolidated commercial offers on time-optimized for cost, risk, competitiveness, and customer expectations.
  • Build comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation plans for each proposal.
  • Maintain full command of technical solutions, procurement inputs, contractual terms, competitive landscape, and cash flow considerations.
  • Reconstitute target pricing and simulate scenarios to reach competitive positions.
  • Challenge internal teams and suppliers to drive convergence toward an optimized, winning offer.



Governance, Negotiation & Handover

  • Ensure adherence to all tendering process milestones and internal approval gates.
  • Lead consolidated Tender Reviews and facilitate informed approval decisions.
  • Support customer negotiations closely with the account team, ensuring rapid team response during critical phases.
  • Assess and maintain compliance with negotiation mandates throughout the process.
  • Lead the final "Review Before Sign," summarizing key gaps and final commitments on cost and margin.
  • Coordinate the smooth transition from tendering to execution teams.
  • Continuously integrate lessons learned into future tendering cycles.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Center Tender Manager - East Asia should have:

  • Strong experience in tendering, bid management, or solutions leadership for complex technical projects (preferably in data center or critical infrastructure environments).
  • Ability to coordinate cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams with clarity, structure, and influence.
  • Excellent commercial, technical, and risk‑management acumen.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse groups.
