Our client is a global leader in digital infrastructure, operating a large portfolio of data centres across key markets.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily data centre operations, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency
  • Lead facilities maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems (M&E)
  • Manage vendors and contractors for maintenance and infrastructure services
  • Develop and enforce site operational procedures, safety standards, and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reliability, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and escalation protocols
  • Lead and develop a technical operations team, ensuring strong performance and engagement
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders on capacity planning and upgrades

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Center Operations Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing mission-critical facilities (data centre, telecom, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, redundancy design, and uptime standards
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ISO, or equivalent)
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
