Job Description

  • Manage and ensure compliance with customs preferential rules and regulations.
  • Optimise the utilisation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) for cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation for customs declarations.
  • Monitor and update FTA-related certifications and approvals.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on customs and FTA requirements.
  • Collaborate with external authorities to address customs-related issues.
  • Analyse and report on customs and FTA-related data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support supply chain and procurement teams in navigating trade and customs regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customs Preferential and FTA Executive should have:

  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures and Free Trade Agreements.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and generating reports.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary between MYR 72,000 and MYR 88,000.
