We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Order Management - Japanese to oversee and optimize order processing operations within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. This role will require proficiency in Japanese and a strong understanding of supply chain processes in the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Job Description

  • Manage full order lifecycle including order processing, delivery coordination, invoicing, and issue resolution
  • Monitor order and supply status, ensuring timely communication with customers and internal teams
  • Handle returns, complaints, and credit/debit processes efficiently
  • Supervise and guide customer service team members on daily operations and priorities
  • Act as key contact for selected accounts, ensuring service quality and continuity
  • Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Support process improvements, reporting, and system utilisation (e.g. SAP)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, supply chain, or operational roles
  • Prior experience in team support or supervisory capacity
  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes in a B2B environment
  • Japanese language proficiency (business level) is required
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
