Job Description

    • Manage and maintain SAP Variant Configuration (VC) models to support new product introductions and existing product enhancements.
    • Configure and maintain product characteristics, classes, dependencies, procedures, constraints, and business rules within SAP.
    • Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Production, and Sales teams to ensure product configurations accurately reflect business and manufacturing requirements.
    • Support engineering change management activities, ensuring product updates and configuration changes are implemented accurately and efficiently.
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into sustainable SAP configuration solutions.
    • Validate and test configuration models to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and functional effectiveness.
    • Support costing-related activities by providing product configuration expertise and assisting with cost impact assessments.
    • Generate reports and analysis related to product configuration, material costs, and operational performance.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing configuration accuracy, process efficiency, and data quality.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions to drive best practices in product configuration and master data governance.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and maintaining configurable product models within SAP.
  • Strong engineering background with exposure to Engineering Change (EC) processes and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with product configuration systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of SAP ERP, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA being an added advantage.
  • Experience within Semiconductor, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCB, or other high-tech manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, configurable products, and product data structures.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
