They are seeking an experienced Commodity Manager, Electronics to develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic commodities, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure a resilient and cost-effective supply chain supporting global manufacturing operations.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies for electronic components including PCBAs, semiconductors, connectors, cables, power supplies, sensors, and other electronic assemblies.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance management activities to ensure optimal quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.
  • Drive commercial negotiations, pricing agreements, cost reduction initiatives, and long-term supply agreements with strategic suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Planning, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to support product development and business requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, capacity constraints, component availability, and supply chain risks, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Lead supplier business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality enhancement, lead-time reduction, and supply continuity.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supplier Management within the semiconductor, electronics, EMS, or capital equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, semiconductor devices, connectors, cables, and electronic manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiations, cost management, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
