Job Description

Lead Financial Strategy and Business Planning

  • Partner with leadership to translate business objectives into financial strategies, providing commercial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.



Oversee Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of all financial reporting activities while maintaining full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements across the Group.



Drive Property Investment Returns

  • Work closely with senior management to maximize the performance of the property portfolio through effective asset management.



Lead Treasury and Capital Management

  • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, funding strategies, capital deployment, and financing activities to ensure adequate liquidity and efficient capital structure management.



Provide Tax and Corporate Structuring Leadership

  • Direct the Group's tax planning and corporate structuring initiatives, including matters involving trusts, international tax considerations, and cross-border transactions, while liaising with external advisors on specialised issues.



Strengthen Governance and Risk Frameworks

  • Establish and maintain effective governance practices, risk management processes, and internal controls to safeguard the Group's assets and support sound operational decision-making.



Manage Corporate Governance and Secretarial Matters

  • Oversee all corporate administration activities, including entity management, board and shareholder matters, regulatory compliance, corporate exercises, and reporting obligations such as CRS, AML, and KYC requirements.



Build and Develop a High-Performing Finance Team

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to the finance function, ensuring the team is equipped to support the organisation's strategic and operational goals.



The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, with relevant professional qualifications.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Experience in the property industry or a related sector is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on strategic financial planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
