Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and tender processes across assigned categories, including strategy development, supplier engagement, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Manage procurement projects independently while working closely with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Deliver measurable cost savings and value improvements while maintaining supply continuity and quality standards
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal governance, legal, and risk frameworks
  • Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and leadership teams
  • Support ongoing supplier performance management and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management within an MNC or structured environment
  • Proven ability to manage RFx processes end-to-end and deliver strong commercial outcomes
  • Strong negotiation skills with good understanding of contracts and supplier management
  • Experience managing medical consumables or operational spend categories is advantageous
  • Exposure to regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, FMCG) is beneficial but not essential
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across regional stakeholders
