About Our Client

Job Description

  • Manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet production requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Track and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions or delays.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate procurement reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain processes.

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary ranging from MYR 72000 to MYR 84000.
  • 13th-month salary as an additional benefit.
  • Permanent position located in Kulim.
