Job Description

  • Formulate and implement business development strategies to attract key businesses, institutions, and service providers to the township.
  • Analyze market trends, identify investment opportunities, and target potential tenants to strengthen the township's ecosystem.
  • Develop sector-specific plans for healthcare, education, retail, hospitality, fuel services, and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with investors, corporate partners, government agencies, and industry associations.
  • Lead negotiations for lease agreements, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with zoning laws, licensing, and operational standards.
  • Secure anchor tenants such as hospital operators, universities, retail brands, fuel providers, and EV charging operators.
  • Manage tenant mix to ensure synergy across healthcare, education, commercial, and community services.
  • Oversee the onboarding process and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth operational setup for new tenants.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies to position the township as a premier destination for living, learning, healthcare, and commerce.
  • Organize promotional campaigns, events, and investment showcases to attract key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce impactful promotional materials and content.
  • Develop and manage the business development budget effectively.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, revenue growth, and investment inflows.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management on business development progress.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for an experienced Business Development or Leasing candidate from the commercial real estate industry. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, commercial leasing, or managing large-scale township or mixed-use developments.
  • Proven ability to secure strategic partnerships and commercial agreements, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, education, or retail.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of urban planning, infrastructure development, and principles of sustainable development.
