Job Description

  • Lead and oversee backend engineering projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
  • Optimise backend performance to improve system reliability and user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into projects where applicable.
  • Contribute to the development of technical strategies and roadmaps.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP-Backend Engineering (Java) should have:

  • Strong expertise in backend engineering, including programming languages and frameworks relevant to the FSI Industry.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions.
  • Proficiency in conducting code reviews and following best practices for software development.
